BMI OrganBank Welcomes Mid Atlantic Bio Angels and Sonnerie VC as New Investors

BMI OrganBank is pleased to begin 2026 by welcoming two new investors into its growing community: Mid Atlantic Bio Angels (BioAngels) and Sonnerie VC. Both groups bring experience supporting early-stage healthcare and life science companies and share a commitment to advancing impactful innovation in regulated markets. BMI OrganBank has enjoyed getting to know both teams through the due diligence process and is grateful for their support as the company continues to build solutions to advance organ preservation and transplant medicine.

BMI OrganBank develops organ preservation and assessment systems focused on improving how donor organs are evaluated, preserved, and transported within the transplant ecosystem. Beginning with kidneys, the company is advancing room-temperature perfusion approaches designed to maintain physiological activity, extend the preservation window, and generate meaningful data—supporting more informed clinical decision-making.

The addition of Mid Atlantic Bio Angels and Sonnerie VC strengthens BMI OrganBank’s network of partners aligned around commercially viable, clinically meaningful innovation in transplant medicine. BMI OrganBank looks forward to continued collaboration with investors, clinicians, and partners as it advances toward its next phase of development.

BMI OrganBank will be attending the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference and welcomes the opportunity to connect with members of the healthcare and investment community interested in transplant innovation and regulated medical technologies.
